still moving pretty good went to southside yesterday for some breakers and passed over on the 95 bridge and seemed to be dark and still coming out of town right quick...they may be a silt bar at the entrance of OL I have seen them build up there in the past so It may be tite getting out and back in there.. This weekend should be able to get out there and get a few lines wet......

Crossed the Ben Harrison bridge yesterday. Looked like a logging operation going on. I would not venture out in the down river area for a while, especially under poor lighting conditions.

You can see the old slave dock pilings from the 295 bridge again so its about down back to normal. Looked to be a boat wrecked off the point going into the barge pits last night but didn't see it when I crossed a few minutes ago. It was close to the channel marker so if you fish close to that be careful may be some new structure!! River color is getting back to normal and lots of floating debris. I would say its fishable but be careful. I wouldn't even attempt to get my boat on plane if I was goin out there.

Is that really a slave dock?

Are you talking about the big group of pilings a few hundred yards on the left hand side, down-stream of the 295 bridge?

Ekim, you know, if you'd have gone out today, the rest of us would know how the river looked!

I drove over the Appomattox at Temple and at 295 today, still looks high to me. Lotta "stuff" in the water at Temple.

I don't know for sure. Some one I was with one time called them that so I always have. The ones I am talking about are downriver of the bridge on the south side of the river. There is a few sets of them there. Use to catch bait around them this time of year for catfishing back when I catfished:D
