Default 25% of them were over 14"

Just last week Western Branch was down nearly 3', amazing how quickly it's filled back up. Anywho, I headed to my same hole that produced 85 last week and got this 13" (1lb 4oz) early on with a Bobby Garland Baby Shad.

This color produced well for me last week, too bad this would be the only crappie it would catch me today. I caught an 11"er and 12"er then the bite shut off. Last week I caught most of the crappie off the bottom, today zero. After around 4-5 hours of absolutely nothing, I caught a 14"'er that was 1lb 9oz. I caught it 12' down with a minnow. Here it is with the 13"er.

So, 4 crappie of which one was over 14" hence, 25% of them were over 14". :D

The water was not as muddy as I thought it would be. Temp was 57-58. I also caught one green carp and a striper that almost pulled my pole into the water. Oh well, hopefully things will settle down by next Saturday.

That's a nice looking pair of fish! 13s and 14s are always exciting to catch. Bigger ones have to be there, too.
