...of ring perch exceeding 12" in length (2 counts). This is not the first time this angler has been cited for such behavior and he may be subject to formal action under the following DGIF policy:
Anglers who receive the commendation of Expert Angler are renowned for their angling specialization. To establish a standing as a lifetime "Expert," anglers must document their fishing skills by landing and registering 10 trophy-size fish (see trophy fish chart) of the same species. When an angler accomplishes this he/she is recognized as a lifetime Expert Angler for that species. The angler receives a species-specific patch and a certificate.
LCR was giving up stretch ringers today and Doodlum took home a pair like the one shown. It also gave up a few dozen specks, including a baker's dozen keepers ranging up to 13.25". Most fish were caught on MINNOWS.
As an added bonus--it was a beautiful day on the water!
