    Default Little Creek Friday PM

Started to go with Crex to the Chick this morning but did not want to hold him up. Decided I do a PMer at Little Creek. Called Corker on the way, figured he needed to catch some fish this week.
We had the lake all to ourselves. Water is about two feet below normal. Plenty of water to launch. Water temperature is holding around 60 at LC also. Wind was blowing at a good hump. Hit a few places and Corker managed to only pick up one nice fish. Finally figured out a pattern and he began his revenge.
I think he boxed a half a dozen before my first fish.
The fish were holding in the grass beds in depths around 10-12 feet. We ended up with 13 nice keepers with the largest around 13". Few were on jigs but most on minnows.
Lake regulations require you be off the lake at 5 PM, bummer!
Corker wil post the Pics and fill in the nitty gritty later.

Lots of leaves & tree debris was floating in the lake. Here's a river of leaves the wind pushed at us.

As soon as I took this picture, we hit into some fish & I had a double.

It's hard to see in this picture, but that's a Pinkie jig I'm holding with the larger fish. Tipped with minnows, this venerable old lure did very well this afternoon.

It was windy & cool on the water & that insulated jacket felt pretty good.

Nice catch. Hope to give LC a try soon. Heard they have some nice size perch there as well.
