I joined Doodlum for a day at Buggs on Wed. Anchorman brought his boat, too, but wasn't able to fill his back seat.
We launched at Longwood and fished a number of super secret locations in and around Grassy. The water was low 60s and off-color--but not exactly muddy.
The bite was much slower than I experienced a week ago and the fish were deeper. For much of the day, it was one here and one there. Size was fair, at best.
Toward sunset, both the bite and the size picked up. Nevertheless, the biggest Doodlum landed was no more than 12". Nothing I caught deserves a mention. Continuing my week of rotten results, I boated 0.000 keepers while Doodlum scored 17 and Anchorman 8 or 9.
Cork, Cork, Cork....you and Anchorman should not be hanging out with Pete. He is the anit-fisher! I mean, don't get me wrong, its nice that you guys will play with him, but he can put the stops on a successful fishing trip. You and Vic should have been together and loading the boat. Let Dredlum, fish by himself. Women are not the only thing he turns off.

Corker, Vic it was good to get out an fish with you two yesterday. I had to give Corker the "Crossing th Carolina Line" ritual, dowsed him with a full cup of coffee. Glad it wasn't two hot, could of ended in a law suite.
After watching a beautiful sun set and catching fish until total darkness we decided to call it quits. With the lake as low as it is, it was a exciting trip back to Longwood Ramp in total darkness. Corker got us safely back using only the GPS and sonar. In the words of C Rex " this is not a timed event".
