Thread: Chick River/Lake Bash - December 13th. Post Questions/Comments Here

December 13th is the Chickahominy River/Lake Bash Date!

We will meet at Rockahock between 07:30 and 08:00. I will be recording those in attendance and collect the $5.00 “big fish pot” money from those that want to participate, this is optional of course. Once you have “checked in” you may leave, just not prior to 07:30. We will meet back at Rockahock at 16:00 for the weigh in. We will not start weighing fish until all are back, so please be back no later than 16:00. The single largest fish wins the money and a trophy. You can fish the river and/or the lake and with what ever you choose.

I kindly ask that if you choose to leave early that you let someone know, this is for two reasons. One, I want to make sure everyone that fishes is accounted for and safe at the end of the day, and two, so we aren’t standing around wondering what happened to so and so. I think most all of us have each other’s cell numbers but I will make sure that everyone has mine and Dayton’s before we leave Rockahock.

The tides for December 13th are:

Low 6:01 AM
High 12:06 PM
Low 6:58 PM

Hopefully the fish will cooperate and we will see some good sized fish.

Anyhoo, while looking at who voted for when, I noticed that Dr. Speckle had slipped in and voted. What a lurker

I'll hold him down @ the BI Bash and you all can take turns kicking his adze.

They are biting good there right now (mid-November). Let's hope it lasts for several more weeks.

myself and diecuter will be there...I predict best fish caught between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. I am thankful that my rig is running good enough to chase the tides slack areas .........oops TMI

I will probably do a 50/50 bass & crappie trip...sorry I can't resist bass fishing the Chick river :D I've won 3 bass tournaments on that river so it holds sentimental favor to me. Don't hold it against me
