Default Want a Longer Rod?

I have some 14' Wally Marshall Tightline Specials. They are just too long for me. Would like to trade for some Tightline Special 12 footers. Mine are in perfect shape. Not used much. The only thing done to them was I added some tape every 2' back from the tip, alternating orange and white. This allows you to hold the tip straight up and eyeball how much line you have out.

Anyone interested?

Dayto

I'd think you could really chunk a bait with them! Just be good with your thumb or you'd be cutting the line off the spool!

I actually use left handed baitcasters for the long rods. Easier to adjust line out then spinniing rods.

I use my old bass reels on my long rods too. they work great for trolling but I would imagine if you used them for jigging it would get too heavy.

I like the 12' WM TL rods also. I have small bait casters and clip on line counters on them so I know how much line is out and can adjust it without lifting the rod out of the holder. Line counter reels would be better but they are too big and expensive for the fishing I do.

Just cut two feet off of the butt, not the tip, and convert them to 12 feet!
