Default Bizarre accident

I am rollin eastbound on I-64 around 3-3:15 and electronic signs are up that theres an accident at exit 238 (Camp Peary) and left lane is closed. I musta come thru relatively soon after it happened cuz I only had about 2 miles of stop n go traffic. A car hauler went off the left lane into the median and hit the upright that holds 2 signs above I-64. I dont know what they're made of but it did not give much considering an 18 wheeler chock fulla cars ran into it dead center on. The initial impact creased the tractor just like it had run into the V blade of a snow plow. The weight behind it then pushed the tractor up the pole where it came to rest, pointing pretty much up in the air. I passed it eastbound at 3 or so and at 5:45 it was still there and eastbound traffic was backed up to my Toano exit, which is 7 miles. It dint look good for anyone in the cab but there was enuf of the cab left where it was not completely crushed, maybe someone got lucky.

I just went to VDOT and they are closing eastbound 64 overnight to remove the mess. Just thought I'd mention it in case any of ya are planning to travel that stretch before morning.
