Talk about a great day to be on the water! At least weather wise that is. Great day, light north winds and low humidity. It was a nice day to be on the lake. The bite is still real slow for me at Western Branch, only got 12 of these.





Biggest was only 10.5", most at 9". Picked up one very small striper and one catfish. Had two bigguns break my line, didn't get to see what they were. Water was 81 first thing and warmed back up to 86. These cooler nights and shorter days should bring the water temp down and hopefully turn them there WB crappie back on.

I caught them anywhere from 6' deep to 14.5' deep. Most at 14.5".


Nope, that tree has been dead, (and in only 15' of water) I only caught 2 dinks there.
