Default OT: Baiting Jeff !

Looky what just went by the plant! I never seen them actually do it. The dang thing sits on the ties while it unloads the bunches. Then just backs up straddling two rail cars to empty the car. Then backs up more and starts again. Kinda freaky to watch. Pics aren't great. Camera phone.





And we saw this cute, pink ponytail scrunchy going up I95 this weekend. Pinky thought it was sweet.

Wait til they start replacing them. I don't know how they do it now but they use to have this machine that would pick up the rails, slide the old tie out and the new one in. Really a neat operation. I guess they still do it that way.

Seen a bumper sticker on the back of a horse trailer that got right to the point. "DON'T BE WHAT YOU SEE - USE A LITTLE HORSE SENSE" Do dat mean what I think it do? hehehe Ferdi aka Fred

I was following similar trailer to that one once when the horse lifted it's tail and speckled my 1983 Firebird at 65mph on the beltway. I never liked horses much after that.

They do Bill, or were when redoing the line from P Forge to Toano 2 yrs ago.
Theres around 15 miles of line from Toano to Norge, Lightfoot, Wmbg. that the new ties have been laid out next to for the better part of a yr now.
