    Here is a few of my all time favorite bait for trout is....put a meal worm on them and put 2ft below a cork and jigf slowly....

    These are my favorite jigs for trout. I hate the sickle hooks for them but got 100's of bites all the same. Best one was the red head, olive body olive tail jig, size 1/80 I think. On sunny days the bright chartreuse head, chart body, banded tail worked best.

    My favorite flies are:
    olive/olive/olive whooly worm
    Hematite bead head, peacock herl body and peacock sword tail.

    Have to find them to take pics of them.
    I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    olive is a good color....1 lake here olive is 90% of the colors they use

    trout magnets are ok...Ive caught more crappie than trout on them

    A nice leggy #14 or 16, beadhead pheasant tail has produced more rainbows, and brookies than any fly I use. I tie others as small #18.
