Going to Pinkston Saturday
Ok, so I'm headed to Pinkston Saturday. This whole little lake is basically a stump field. I'm going to try and find a main creek channel and start there. Any other suggestions? I've heard of people catching 2+ pound crappie there because no one ever fishes it for crappie because it's known for its huge bass. Any info would be appreciated!

Well, how did you do yesterday at Pinkston? Hope you loaded the boat. Let us see your Pinkston report.

We caught no fish at Pinkston. Fished around several likely stumps, but absolutely no bites on live minnows or jigs. Once again skunked, but I'll probably try again next month. There were tons of bass schooling the entire afternoon though. They were chasing big shad out of the water. Most constant thrashing I've ever seen. That lake is stacked deep with bass. It's ridiculous. Anyone got any advice on crappie there? I'm stumped (no pun intended)
