    Default Crappie Fishing Canyon Lake

First post on here, been reading for a while. Looking at heading to Canyon tomorrow. Anyone have any tips. Been trying for Crappie around Rebecca Creek and out of Cranes Mill and have been un-successful. Is it to hot right now in the river so I should be fishing deep water structure on the main lake? Any advice would be appreciated even if given after today cause I'm gonna keep trying til I find em.

I fished out of Rebecca Creek Low water crossing about two weeks ago. We were fishing for bream and bass, but as we got down the river towards the main lake, the river did get deep enough to hold crappie, and did have what I call crappie structure. Lots of dead cypress trees in deep water. We weren't fishing for them, but it crossed my mind for next time I go. I'm almost postive there are crappie there. And generally the river crappie will stay there year round.
