there was nothing biting. a couple small bass and some cats were turning but my minnows were getting their eyes sucked out. by what i dont know. if anyone knows whats causing this let me know and what i can do differently. i then went to a marina on 1097 and caught a small cat and a beautiful 5lb large mouth. but no crappie. again if anyone has some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Your getting hit by brim, blue gill, goggle eye. When minnows stop producing crappie, and your bait is constantly getting hit, and the eyes are getting knocked out, move, move, move. Crappie are either there, or there not. You will continue to donate bait, until its all gone. Go to a deeper location for this time of year-- 20-25 feet. The same goes for catfish. When your catching crappie and the bite starts to slow down, and you start catching catfish, its over for that hole, unless you want to catch catfish. Crappie usually will dominate a hole if numbers are there. Hope this helps..

yeah it does.... the only problem is i dont have a boat to get to a deeper spots. so i have to fish from land. but i really appreciate the info on the bait problem.
