Thumbs up Last of the brush for this year, maybe.

I got the last four sets out today. It was plenty windy but I managed to set them close to where I really wanted them to be. Cedar and concrete pads are fun to handle by yourself, had some lookie lous but no offers to help. I should be able to get the gate back on the pontoon, luckily it didn't go in before I seen it was tore loose. Got the toon cleaned and the top put back on so now maybe I can get some fishing done starting next week. I'll let you know if they start producing. Ferdi aka Fred:D

Hey Fred, we put out 4 tops a couple of weeks ago and are taking 3 or 4 fish off at a time. I hope it will get better. Dont know how you did it by yourself. I had help and it was a big ordeal. We finialy learned to put our jug on ,tie the weight on , put the weight on the back of the boat and secure it. Then we would idle out pulling the top behind us. Then we would drag the top around to the front of the boat and let her drop. This is our first rodeo, but it worked for us. Good luck on your new brush.

Glad you got yours out Fred. I have not been a lucky yet, but I have got to do it soon. I guess I am going to have to cut the trees up some and take a piece out at a time. Maybe even at night so they will not see me doing it, LOL! Shame it's like that.
