    Default LOP Fishing

    Hey all,Will be headed to lop sunday for a solid week of eating,relaxing and fishing.Will be stayn at johnson creek in rvs.There is a group of us that do every thanksgiving every year at the lake.Now for the hard question,where wil we find crappie with this much water.Have a bunch of kids and grandparents to wet hooks would like to put them on some fish.Any help will be apppreciated.I wish all of u a happy thanksgiving and good to see qs back on here.Hope your prayers were answered QS.

    I'm not sure to be honest. Try the feeder creeks (Johnson, Hurricane and Alley) in about 18-25 fow to start with if you find any brush piles focus real good on them before moving on. You can check out the flats out from Sandy Beach for any fish if I recall it should be about 30-34 fow with all this water. Remember if your not catching fish MOVE!

    Most likely we will be up there one or two day during the time you are there, if you see this boat come on over and see if we can help you.

    Well went out sun in johnson creek by the old road bed and picked up 5keeper crapp and a few channels.Went back out mon morn to a main lake point out of johnson and got into a mess of nice yellows and 6 nice crapp.I was fiskhing alone mon morn and had a ball catchin them yellows,i was so busy could only keep up with one rod.The biggers ones we keep they sure eat good.Everything was caught on minnows.Well had to come to town tues morn for errands,will be back out wed morning.

    Thanks Crappiecouple,, Frogger's advice is dead on for where to find them right now, I'd concentrate on Hurricane just off the main lake "tight on the brush".. Happy Thanksgiving
