    Default Lake Rayburn

What a beautiful day for fishing. Didn't do any catching but we fished a lot. Water looked good, not muddy like last time out. It was holding around 64 degrees north of Jackson Hill Marina. I couldn't find them but what we did catch was around 15' deep in 20-25' of water. I need to freshen my brush piles and put some in better locations if I can figure where that would be. I'm thinking I need to go down the lake some south of the 147 bridge. Or maybe up the Angelina towards Shirley Creek. Got to do some looking and see what I can find. I know there are better days ahead. Ferdi aka Fred

Talked to another buddy that fished this past weekend and said he cuaght 5 keepers all weekend. Said it was the worst trip he has ever had. I wonder what is wrong with them.
