Has anyone attempted LOP since the high water for Crappie? I am getting out for my first time since my spine surgery on February 6th. I have fallen behind on what is currently going on. What depth and jigs or minnows? With the water so high, I have no idea where to even start. By the way, will the Game warden be easy on the shaved head and goatee guy in a white and black Nitro. My regestration is out and I am just mainly going for a boat ride. I have never even tried my rods that I got from QS Last year. This recovery was hell. Maybe I will see some of yall out there. Camping at Johnson Creek with girlfriends family. Hopefully a good trip will come out of it. Unless work calls me in and all of this is gone to SH*T! I hate being on call 24/7, when we are having a pump causing problems over a weekend.
Just a little help.
Before all the rain crappie were in 12 to 18 feet on brush, they were coming on jigs, 1/8oz White/Orange/White and CLDT004) Yellow/Black/Yellow/Midge.
Pines is about 13.75' high, if we were to go back out there we most likely would start back at the 18' + 13.75' at would 31 feet and work our way back to about 12' until we found them again.

Historically Pines is a bear to fish when them gates are wide open for me. Good luck about the GW taking it easy on you hopefully they will be concentrating on the deer hunters and not the lakes.

As of last weekend 11/7, only ramps open were in Buckhorn creek and Johnson creek. Water seems to go down about 5 inches in 5-6 days period. I have seen lots of floaters in Copeland Creek area. I will be up this weekend may tru for Cats off the bank out in front of " Cottage" thats what the call em up north.
