    Default Richland Chambers Lake

Does anybody (other than me) fish Richland Chmabers Lake? ? ? ?
I never see a post from that lake here!
Needless to say this has been one bad year on that lake..... Lots and lots of 9 15/16" black crappie caught in the summer months..... Fall is the prime time for us to catch the good uns under the bridge but because of wind, rain and high water that has not happened! !
But I am going into the building mode to be ready for Feb and the spawn.
    Good luck and good fishing.

No Keith you are about it as far as posting about RC over here. It seems like TFF has the majority of the DFW/Central TX/West TX area guys on it and we East Texas and Houston fellers get on here more often, although the Houston crowd is not what it used to be either. I feel your pain on the bad fishing though LOP is over 14 ft high and they got the gates wide open which really affects the fishing right now.

There was some talk about a get together at LOP after the CAT championship but that fizzled out and after all the rain it's a good thing it didn't happen!

BTW I like reading the posts about RC and learn any useful info and apply it to my own fishing experiences.

I recently moved to RC, and am trying to learn the lake. Fished it a few times with pops while on vacation, and it was awesome, but seems since his passing hard to find those allusive crappie. Maybe im just to green. would enjoy a chat bout the lake maybe a pointer er 2?????

Hey Bo I have heard Keith talking about the "bridges" holding fish mostly year round. Also If there are any deep areas around the creek channels the crappie should be there through most of the winter.
