Thread: Martin Lake- A good time was had by all

We wound up with three couples and all of the younguns at the state park. I got there early to get the campsites we wanted soa fter that was complete I went out to explore the lake. I didn't make it too far when I found a hump holdling fish. So much for exploring I started trolling with my craapie jigs. A few minutes later I got a bump but no fish. A little while later and I hooked up. Turned out to be a small bass. Shortly thereafter my wife called and we went to setup camp.

Later that night me and a buddy went above the bridge to chum up some holes for catfishing. The next day we went out and hit the holes we chummed up. We caught a ton of fish that were 10-11 inches. We finally put 8 or 10 in the box that would make it. We probably aught 50-60 fish total and the action was steady. The wind beat us up pretty good but a good time was had by all.

Glad yall had fun! The kids never forget stuff like that. I took my kids to Caddo a couple springs back and they still want to go back.
