Default Live 4 miles from Lake Gilmer

I'm new to the forum but have been thinking about setting some of these out at Lake Gilmer. I'm kinda just getting started at crappie fishing. I carried my two boys over to Gilmer Lake today and we caught three fish - two in timber-11ft water - and one on the powerline right of way-20 ft water. Did'nt really know where else to fish and the kids were getting cold.

I saw a couple of guys under the bridge pulling in several small ones on jigs.

Any way I was wondering what you might think about sinking some in 20 ft around the high line pylons. I'm currently looking for a source for some and I think I know where it maihgt be. I'm gonna check this week and see about cutting some. just don't know where to put it.

I also have a some scrap pvc and was thinking about building some out of that too.

    Any help will be appreciated.

Oh that's what I have to do to get you to post old boy! Good to see you back.

Hey RLT there are plenty of brushpiles already in Gilmer. Look around those poles and you should find some.

I think I'm gonna wait a few days for all this water to settle before I drop em. Unless you want to go tomorrow Quick?
