Default Navionics or Fishing Hot Spots?

I am confused about which one of these would be the better purchase. Can anyone make my decision any easier with good advice?

Hands down Navionics. Don't know what sonar unit you have and they have several different levels of detail on them and at least get the one that has the HD and 1' contour lines. That means every 1' of change it will show as a line. Much easier to see things to check out with that. You can see that stuff running down the lake and a hump or hole will show up like a bulls eye type target. I have the Platinum one, but if the Gold has the 1' elevations on them they are very good too.

I hear more things about Navionics than anything else. If I was buying that would be it.

Thank you for the advice. I bought the one above the gold and below the platinum cuz that is the one that works in my 334c. I must say it is awsome and makes searching new spots much easier. I am glad I got it. It came with a crappie magnet that sucks the crappie right into the boat and cleans them for you.:D
