    Default A Years's Supply Of rain ???

My rain gauge is measuring right at six inches right now.( looks like we are getting a years supply of rain in one day !!)..I was going to go to Graham Lake tomorrow...but my son called from Graham and told me the water is going over the old bridge where I like to fish..so that cancels my trip...

BUT.....What I would like to know...How will all this extra water/run off affect crappie fishing ???

    Many Thanks...

Well 1 thing for sure all the fresh water coming into the lake is certianly gonna make all the fish active cooler temp's means shallow movement pushing the bait fish in shallow and heavy feeding before the fall plunge I'm gonna go Monday proably start out in about 6-8 foot of water and work My way out as the sun rises.

This rain will lower the temp of the lake water....
And push the crappie into a FALL PATTERN....
Just what we have been looking far.....

Totally agree fall is getting closer and will go and try Johnson's ranch up at Uncertain for some slabs. My brother-in-law told me that when he was bass fishing the shad had started to school in the river a good sign of fall pattern starting. Will report if I do any good.

Usually when they open the gates at Pines it shuts them down. But the cooler temps will have a positive effect when they shut the gates back down.
