Fished Sunday & Monday at RR and the crappie tore us up! Sunday morning the wife and I caught 39, kept 29. The largest (caught by the wife ) was 15.5". Had a few 13 to 14" and several 11 and 12's. All the dinks were 9.5 to 9.75 inch black crappie.
Returned on Monday at daybreak with my brother. Fished same brushpile and caught 3 or 4, 1 keeper. Tried 2 more brushpiles in area and wound up with a couple more keepers. Moved to my favorite piling at the northwest bridge and boated over 60 with 15 keepers. Had some REALLY small ones, maybe in the 7" range. Ended the day with a 2 lb channel cat on my last minnow!
Both days the crappie were 18 to 20 feet in 35 to 40 feet of water, water temp was 81, both days.
