    Default Lake Nacogdoches 8/9/09

Took a buddy of mine out for some relaxing fishing this morning. We got a late start and didn't get on the lake til around 8. Got 3 keepers within the first 30 minutes, then they shut down. They were hanging around our bamboo piles in 17-19 ft of water. The lake is about 2 foot low right now and clear. We used chartreuse plastic grubs. The little down twitch motion was the key to triggering any strikes today and pink crappie nibble seemed to help. Here is me with the two biggest.

Did Scottie beam him down from the Enterprise? Have not talked to anyone catching very many right now, must be the full moon.
