I have done very little on Fork but the little I did was great. Put in at the public ramp by the Minnow bucket, go right there under the bridge. Always did good on Minnows and Jigs.
Hey Flatfish, Have you been out to the East Dam (Tyler) where the just dropped all the bamboo yet? Just wondering, they dropped 5 gal buckets with 15ft bamboo in them in late june.

Talked to Quicksilver this afternoon. We're going up to LOP and try to scout out some more brushpiles and maybe catch a few also.

Should have gone to Gilmer. Where did you fish at up there?

They had the flood gates wide open at Pines and the fishing sucked because of it. I also took a big ol cedar to sink out there but that turned into a real big hassle. You would think a 80 lb bucket of crete would sink a stupid tree but nope! We probably had to tied another 100 lbs of rock to it to get it under water. I sure hope it stays put. Whew me and the old man were pooped after that fiasco!

On the bright side my boy got to go out with us and he sure had a good time in Mr. Van's boat even though we struck out in the fishing department.
