I'm gonna do some nightfishing tonight!
Taking my girlfriend's dad out to Lake Nacogdoches tonight! Hope to have a full report when we get back. Eastexn, if you get a call from me late tonight, go ahead and bring the tow rope :D Come out and join us too if you want! We'll probably either be at the "best pile" or the second or third pole! We'll be there from around 8:30-midnight.

Good luck Jacob and be careful. Taking your girlfriends dad out on the water could be dangerous. I know there are some boyfriends my daughter dated I would have love to drown.

That's the reason I thank God I never had any girls. hehehe With boy's you only have one of them things to worry about but with girls you have to worry about them ALL. hehehe
Good luck Jacob, catch a bunch and have fun. Ferdi aka Fred

Just got back in. Caught one bass and zero crappie. The lights brought in loads and loads of shad just like they were supposed to, just no crappie. Oh well. Now we know when not to go.

Very full. Didn't even need a light on the way in. Could that be the problem? Too much available light for the fish to feed elsewhere?

I have heard some folks talk about fishing not being as good on full moons. Personally I wouldn't know!

My outcome fishing on a full moon has varied considerably. One constant is I have never done really well. Once I did not catch a fish until the moon went down. I am sure they were feeding. They just where were not feeding where I was fishing.

Yeah, I fished at richland chambers at night where I catch crappie all the time during the day. As soon as the sun went down...... nothing. Had the lights out in full force. Plenty of baitfish but no crappie. Moved to another spot where we usually catch a lot of crappie and caught nothing but sand bass, about fifty of em. Not one crappie. Its like they disappeared. Have any of y'all experienced the same thing
