All You Lake Fork Crappie Fishermen
Hello from Missouri! I have some family near lake fork and my dad and I are planning a trip later this fall. Any ideas about when the "prime" time to come down would be. I was watching TV the other day and could not believe some of the hawgs they were pulling out of there. They don't grow em like that here!
Thanks for any advice!

Come see me! Ive been fishing fork alot lately and we have been knee deep in crappie early, this year! Not as much sorting through brood fish like i thought there might be. But im prety sure that comes with the rise and fall so much of surface temp. Alot of big crappie have been caught suspended on standing timber and a few on pillars.
Come Join me on cedar creek as well ill be filming show on cedar creek and theres big crappie there as well. Will be fishing both lakes heavy this fall.

Pretty much from late September through April will yield excellent results from most East Texas lakes. Just keep an eye out for reports as the Texas board will get alot more traffic once it cools off some.
