Thread: luce bayou --lake Houston

Sorry: I havn't been on the board for a while but will give you an up date for north-east lake houston. Weather (hot) The bayou is at normal pool now. water temp in AM 86 - PM 89 . As for fishing went out Thursday 7/23/09limited out with 25 crappie 1 cat about 2# and landed a 6#7oz native black bass (weighed on digital scale) by witness . Caught on 1/16 oz jig (chart. glitter) with 6# test line on light action rod .[note] fish was released shortly after weighing . Went out wednesday 7/29/09 ended the day with 12 crappie 5 blue gill 1 black bass 16" slow fishing that day .

Glad to see a report from down your way. We used to have a good group from Houston area on here but I haven't seen much of them in a long while.

I remember fishing Luces Bayou one Christmas morning with my dad years ago....I was sick as a dog,but that did not stop me.......Caught a MESS!
