Default LOP memorial weekend

The wife wants to wet a hook this weekend, we have not wet one since mid March up at Wright Patman the wind blew all weekend so we didn't do any good. So now she wants to try LOP, the last time we were on LOP was in January fising the channel down by the dam.

What I am thinking is going up North to the 155 bridge and doing some night fishing, drop a few light over the side of the boat and see what happens.

Anyone catching or hear of anyone catching fish that far up north and at night??

Murray..

You should be able to catch a few... But the best thing going on pines right now is the catfish on mid to north end of lake in shallow coves.. Hot!

Still some crappie being caught in the timber suspended as well.

Have a great weekend.

Hey Murray good to see you post. I was thinking about heading up to Lake Gilmer and doing some night fishing up there one night this weekend.

Froggerzs its good to be posting, I've been lurking on the site but just haven't posted in a while..

We bought some land in December and are in the process of having Satterwhite build a house. Logs should start going up next Tuesday, weather permitting.. So the fishing has taken a back seat to this project, but Lisa is chomping at the bit to wet a hook....

We bought 110 acres 8 miles outside of Henderson, Put in a 1100ft road and cleared off about 3 acres for the house site. The property has a small creek/branch running though it that the beaver have damed up flooding about 2 acres its about 1 to 2 foor deep and has killed off all trees that is standing in the water. (We've trapped and killed 5 so far) This will be the site for my future pond, although I want it a bit larger and deeper..
