Default Rayburn report

We had some luck this weekend. We fished fri. evening , sat and sunday. We fished within a half a mile of shirley creek island. Water was clear and water temp was 72. caught the most fish in 20 ft water, fishing at 12 ft deep. 3 or 4 fish at a time on stickups. We ended up catching 87 keepers all weekend and had some good slabs. It was slow at times. It seemed like every day around 2:00 or 3:00 the action picked up. After several hours we could go back and re-visit succesful stumps and pickup a few again. Minnows were the bait of choice. Good luck to everyone.

Took our youngest son fishing for his birthday today on Rayburn. We caught some quality fish but it was slow, we caught a mess of throw backs so we will have plenty next year too. Using minnows in 20' of water around 9-10' deep. I'll post pictures as soon as I find my cheat sheet so I can shrink the dang things down. I still fight with photo bucket so I might try back there and see again. Ferdi aka Fred
