Thread: Big Sandy

Has anyone took advantage of the pretty days and went fishing around the Big Sandy area?

A co-worker fo mine said his dad caught 38 in the gravel pit area on jigs under a bobber:D On wed.

Where is the gravel pit area? We fished the Buchanan Resort area Wednesday and had 17 keepers. How deep on the jig and bobber? Thanks.

The area they call the gravel pits is between Big Sandy spillway and Country Junction. Across from New Hope. I think they were fishing about 18" deep.
