    Default Fish Scalers

Being shipped in,Its not the Gand-- Mnt-- model. reason why and would love to see some imput after researching, felow fishermen have added that the size of the hole make a differnce/input was clogage. The G M. model has smaller holes then the comercial one that has bigger holes in diam. Now have the fish baskett model that you have to get up on plane for and works good but that can be an issue in some areas of shallow water were we have tried to use it /becuase of the lake area being shallow and having to get up on plane. Now this is a pricey model but think it will serve its purpose 300 + .

Any input would be apprc. RFY

I here ya LYNN i no of one fellow that has a place by mine and i asked him how he liked his for crappie and brim ? He showed me it and the pile of scales it took off of them and said for 200.00 he loved it. But read the input on the industrial size that is pricey but the input was that the bigger holes in it release the scales alot e-zier. We going to try it out! The same old fillets will have a coat on them now and love'm like that it seems to be a diffrnt. taste and diffrnt. "CRUNCH" and on the recipe board i heard a little something about useing chinnese bread crumbs?? Research RFY

I remember back before my Dad passed away that he took a standard washing machine and modified it with a chicken wire basket.

It was behind our cabin. Pitch the crappie in and turn it on and in 20 minutes scales were washing down the hill.

Yankee:::Over the years I've probably built 6 to 8 of them from old driers . If I knew you wanted one, I would have built you one and delivered it next week when I come down . I've left them all at Grays Camp. Left a couple at Shaws Lodge before it burn't down..You can built one rather cheaply out of a drier.I hope you leaving a few fish for me. I'm hoping the weather settles down over the next week or so..Come up to Grays camp and I'll show you how I build them...See you at the big old leaning cypress tree ....Norm
