Thread: Tellico 4-9-09

Me and the wife put in at Clear Creek around 9:30. What a beautiful day.
Caught 21 with 12 keepers. Fished mainly in Bat Creek in 20ft. of water over brush. Used slip float and minnows between 8 and 10 ft. deep. Caught a few in Clear Creek later in the evening tight to cover around 3 to 4 ft.

good catch there panfish, no wonder i have been having a hard time locating them here lately, i have been staying in 2-6 ft of water hoping they are moving up, i'll pull back a little deeper and give it a try

Thanks. Son went with me last weekend. He caught a nice 13" crappie off the same brush pile. Should of taken some photo's but he was in a hurry to clean the fish.
