Thread: Tellico 4-9-09

What a beautiful day on the water. We put in around 2:30pm and went straight for the brush. Caught most in 3-5 ft of water (61F). As the day went on, the specks got tighter and tighter on the cover. Chart/black jig and minnows were used on slip float at 18-24 inches deep with 10 and 12ft cracker poles. Put over 30 in the boat with 12 keepers. No slabs, but most were 11 to 11 1/2 inch. All were full of eggs. Took an ol' friend with me today...we had a blast! Tight Lines yall!

Nice day to be on the water, my wife and I fished Douglas, but we like to fish Tellico also, especially Baker's Creek Area. We just enjoy being on the water and if we catch one that's a bonus.
