Thread: Reelfoot 11-7-08

Started this morning at 7am. By 8:30 had 8 fish. From 8:30-10:30 still only had 8 fish. Changed my approach and had the 30 fish limit by noon.

Culled a few, but mostly just started throwing all my fish back. Threw back 10 or so that could have replaced some that i kept but i didnt feel like diggin em out of the livewell.

Had alot of fun today. Front changed their behavior, but didnt hurt the fishing. Had a blast. I fully believe if had known what was going on the 2 hours I didnt catch anything, I would have had alot more big fish.

No monsters, just the one 1 1/2lb, and 5 more over 1lb. Several 3/4lb up to a lb. Had the lake to myself. Only a few other boats out there. Maybe 5 or 6. Wind was real bad, but the fish didnt care none.

You the man!! I was in meetings all day at work and could see the windy was really blowing in Dburg, I can only think of how windy it would be on the water. Man you ought to fish the tournaments with the way you can catch em, You and John would make a good team. Who knows I might buy some of your fishing rods( the J & J signature series)LOL:D. But all jokes a side you two should think about it you both are really good fishermen. I seen RFY yesterday in town and he had a photo of some nice ones that he had caught last week. I do have one question how is it getting across the lake with the stumps? Are you getting up on top of them still? I hope to get out there soon.
