Default Garrett Lake - Weakly County

The fall bite is starting to get right at Garrett Lake. Fished from the dock last night for an hour or so and had five keepers. 10.5" to 12.5". Wanted to stay longer but had stuff to do. Headed back out there tonight for a little bit. Fished with jigs tipped with minnows 3' under a lighted bobber. Lots of fun!!

Its suppose to be 183 acres by my book, 12 to 15 foot deep its 7 miles east of Dresen north off hwy 54... i never been there , just reading info from West Tn guide. Looks like it would be about the same distance as Martin from Jackson. MSN says its 54 miles to Dresden. so add another 7 miles to that.. be close anyway.

They started the dam to impound the Huntingdon Lake. It supposed to be ready to fish in 5 years or when I die, whichever comes first. We been paying a special wheel tax on that lake project for years.

You all wil git to use it at my expense. It only took them 30 years to agree to everything (including the tree huggers and the peter people) before they started damming up the ditch.
