I have done pretty well night fishing in the late spring and through summer ,but have never really tried to night fish at all in the fall. Does anyone night fish in the fall under lights? What are some pointers for this time of the year. I suppose teh fish will start heading into creeks sometime soon to chase minnows and fatten up for the winter. I had planned on starting to look for fish on main lake points close to creeks or main ledges/channels at mouths of creeks. Is this the right approach for finding fish right now? WHat do you guys suggest. I will be fishing Douglas and am open to fishing any area if people have any suggestions. I am going Friday night to give it a try. Also, If anyone wants to go along, they are more than welcome to tag along. I have a 16' flat bottom . It's nothing fancy, but it fishes two people easily and I have a fish finder to help me along.
id say if you get set up in the right place you want have a problem catching a limit
I fish at night pretty regularly. Haven't fished under lights much though. I catch some nice fall slabs at night until they go back to deep water, then I get the boat out and go after 'em.
"To catch fish, you gotta be on the fish!"
