me and a buddy had a pretty good day today on chicamauga, near cottonport. we were using slip floats and minnows in around 10-12 ft of water on any type of structure you could find
Nice catch.
nice mess of fish..........good job
paddle faster i think i hear banjo music !!!!!
There was a crappie tx this past weekend on Chickamauga the winner had 14 fish weighing 18lbs.
We had 15 fish @ 18 lbs. We're not tour. fisherman per say, but just wondering how that weight would hold up in the big crappie tournaments?

Glad to see the lake is getting back in shape. I lived there from 83 to 99 and got to do some fishing. In the mid 90's when they killed all the vegitation it got pretty rough for crappie. I lived for several years by Pine Harbor Marina. Loved it. If the job hadn't taken me away I would probably still be there.

Nice catch sailfish!
congrats guys those are defiantly worth smiling over
The fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad
thanks alot guys, we didnt even throw any blugill in the livewell, we probably caught 40-45 of them with these. the lake still isnt like it was years ago when the vegetation was there, but its come along pretty well and the future for our kids is looking promising. i was like dixie too in wondering about the weights it takes to place in the crappie tournaments.
