Cracker,
I was actually closer to SW side of the lake. I saw a few boats over at GIP but we did well where we were.
Any takers on a fishing partner??

Duck hunters will be an issue come sat on the north end

boy I wish I could
I have just finished a madhouse day. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it to miss work on vacation. Wait, what am I saying, its always worth missing work and dealing with the crap later!!!!
Unfortunately I have a whole bunch of stuff to do tommorrow or I would go for sure. I really want to try out my new wally marshall 18 footers.
Saturday was a sure enough beautiful day with a good start on the North end. We caught two great fish real quick and then had to go. I really think that it would have been pretty awesome if we could have stayed. I had to be home early for my cousin's wedding so maybe it was best that we didn't stay. My wife would have been highly agitated if I skipped the party and left her with the 3 kids to take to the wedding alone.
Good luck to all that go.

oh I forgot
Also, like DTG said, the duck hunters will be an issue this weekend. We caught our fish along the east basin line in the 7 foot water fairly close to Curlin's Blind. Another guy came up and fished for a while but did not catch anything as far as I could tell. The only other boat that I saw was in the 3-4 foot water behind Sportsmans Resort. Another buddy of mine watched him from the bank for about 15 minutes and never saw him get a bite. I can't imagine catching much that shallow yet. Best bet for Saturday morning on the north end would be the west basin line from the just above the airpark ramp south to the area in front of Curlins and from that 7 foot water on out east into the main basin I think.
Forecast for tommorrow morning looks like you could fish anywhere. I would probably try out in the 9-11 foot water in front of Kiwanis Park ramp or back between Bo's and the gazebo.
Thats just my 2 cents.

Rush,
Did you see mine and crackers post about 12ft of water? 14-15ft really seemed to be the ticket saturday and with similar conditions tomorrow I cant see myself fishing anywhere but where we did saturday.
Come on guys, someone needs to take me up?

Oh!
Plenty of people pay guides for a good day of fishing, all i need is someone to ride shotgun.
Furnishing the boat, bait, and tackle!
