Just found out about the site... Got a cabin in Springville and looking to come down in the next week or two to try some winter fishing. How's the crappie biting?

same here welcome from east tn.

First of last week, Crappiehunter was catching them in 20-25 ft of water along drops using double hook KY rig with minnows. This past weekend I was catching them in 4-6 foot water floating minnows. Looks like a cold front is gonna move in on us. Check the link below for reports. My pal Steve McCadams stays on top of reports.

Welcome aboard Kim.I aint for sure about the reports up there yet but I will be heading that way this weekend.Duck season opens this weekend and I got my cabin there also.So I will be fishing when I aint hunting Usually the ducks stop moving in around noon and are hiding on the refuge so I am going to be fishing.I will be back and forth from here and there Dec and Jan.

Hey there Kim talked to several people over the weekend they was catching alot of good crappie around Springville Resort area 12-14 inch.I didnt get a chance to fish myself.
