Thread: Reelfoot Tomorrow

Hey guys!

I havent posted much since late spring.

Going tomorrow morning. Any thoughts as to where the fish might be? I really havent heard much but been working alot. Got the boat half-azz rigged back up just to go in the morning. So anybody do any good this week?

Heard today that was 12ft was the ticket. But then again you never know on that lake.
I sure hope to also find out in a week or so.

Had a rough time today. only got to fish about 2 hrs due to some issues.

Caught aobut 20, only kept 5. Fished about 9-10ft deep in 12 ft of water.

Wind wasnt bad but blew pretty good at times. Anyone else got anything lets hear it!

I fished 9:30 till 2:00 Don't know how many I caught but brought home 12 keepers. Wind was out of every direction except the direction the News predicted.. suprise suprise.

Fished 9' all the way to 14' and almost all my fish were right on the bottom. with the most coming out of the 13 and 14 foot of water. Nothing special. biggest one being close to a pound but most were 1/2 pound fish. Several Stripes.

Was told that not many fish being caught under 9' foot of water. Also heard from a couple of people that fished Kirby pocket all day and had 2 fish total.

Also the water temps was 52

Good report. Sounds like you had similar results. Although my 5 keepers were over 1lb. All the rest were small.

You were right aobut the wind. It started out in the direction forcasted but quickly changed. When we left it was blowing almost directly out of the south. So much for NE ENE wind.

Man I have the fever right now so yall keep the reports coming. Good to know about kirby pocket as I was debating on starting out there yesterday.

Anyone on the North end of the lake yet?
