Anyone got recent reports (this week) on Reelfoot. See got a bit of rain past couple days....Cracker68 says may have come up another inch or so....but he hasn't been down lately....anyone catching fish in shallow water trees or ditch/pads?\
I have a couple of boats of buddies fishing right now (2:00 pm) out from Kiwanis/Cypress Point. Been there all day, 12 good keepers and a number of dinky throwbacks. I thought that I would be there by now, but . . no luck

I hope they turn on....headed down next Fri/Sat...and just spent a good chunk of change riggin boat for trolling.
:D I'll be there for sure. I am at the house this morning with the kids while my wife is hunting. Yesterday afternoon I armed my 7 year old with a mini-14 and we went to the stand. She drew down on a doe at 25 yards and watched her in the scope for 5 minutes before deciding to wait for a buck. All of the bucks were too far away. She is death with the .223.
My buddies who fished yesterday kept about 30 and threw back a lot of little fish. All of the fish were about 10-11 feet in 13-14 foot water. I have to go to Louisville this afternoon for a few days. When I come back I will be ready to fish. I will probably fish wed pm, friday and saturday. Hope to see you.

Im going to assume that your buddy's were trolling? Man, so it sounds like the fish they caught were dang near on bottom....do you know if they happen to try Moltrie Field?
Yes, they were trolling. They started around Kiwanis park and ended up back around Bo's and the Gazebo. The better fish were over around Bo's. I haven't talked to anyone who fished around Moultrie. Anyone fished around Samburg beside the Green Timber?

Man....it just SEEMS like there would be fish in that big group of trees...even this time of year.
Last year we hit them pretty good early a couple of times, but then it fizzled out. We haven't caught any real numbers behind Samburg since about 3 years ago. That year we started fishing Samburg in Feb and really nailed them there.
I want to fish!!!!!!
