I went out early Monday morning and caught 6 nice slabs. Then the wind pushed me off my spot and once I got re-situated the fish decided to quit playin'. Decided to try a spot up river from where I was at and there is where it all went bad! I was about 3 miles from Pebble Isle Marina when my motor decided to not start. When I go fishin I take both my work cell and my personal cell and it always seems like everybody calls me then, but of course when I need the things to work I have no signal! I killed my troll motor battery and was working on finishing up my starting battery by the time I got hold of the marina. They towed me in for the low price of $100 and fixed my starter for another $65.........The good part was that they charged my batteries back up so when I went to pick my boat up I fished for a short while today (no point going to the river without fishin) before the storm rolled in. I grabbed these little jokers while I was out. Not a bunch but some really nice thick slabs.
Oh yea, Canepole: haven't heard anything on the Sauger yet, but it shouldn't be to long.
Sorry to hear of your misfortune with the starter and batteries glad they are working good now. What river or lake is Pebble Isle on?Do you ever fish Old Hickory or Percy Priest any?

Hook em and bring em in the boat.
Boys look at them bouncing juggs lets get them in the boat.
3 Bald Stooges of Percy Priest Lake SGT of Arms.
I hesitate to say KY Lake because I fish south of Paris TN. I usually fish between Cuba Landing and Cypress Creek on the TN River. No I have not fished either one of them.
