I fished the upper end of Percy Priest today for the first time since spring and was saddened to see all the many cyprus trees had died. Of course we will have the trunks and stumps for many many years as it takes an eon for cyprus to rot out, but their beauty and contributions will be greatly missed. I have enjoyed watching the slow steady growth of these magnificent trees for some 37 years. Another victim of the drought. Speck
