Thread: Priest Yesterday and today!!

It`s been good fishing for me the last 2 days even though the wind made fishing hard. I was catching some good slabs for Priest, they were at the same bank as yesterday although the minnows were not up against the bank today and I had to fish out deeper.

How deep are you fishing?

Caught 11 keepers yesterday about 12 - 15 ft.

Are you fishing in the evening or morning? Great catch there just wished one thing and that was me there with all them fish.Been thinking about going out one evening after I get off work but my partner dont get off work til 6pm.But guess I could go out and get the jugs out for catfish and then pick him up when he gets out there and do some crappie fishing.

Fished the upper end of Percy Priest today and caught stripe and hybrids running shad. After we got our fill of them we took off after crappie and found them on wood on the edge near deeper water. They were fairly aggressive and would come up out of hang city to take our 1/8 oz white tubes. They were mainly short fish but it was still a ton of fun as we were not taking prisoners today anyway. I think I will go again tomorrow as the weather will turn north soon and that will be it for me for a few days. Lake seemed to be full summer pool. Go git em, Speck

i as well hit 'em hard yesterday (poole knobs area) caught a little over 80 crappie with only 4 keepers , but like speck said , they were very aggressive.

Hope to find them this next week.
