Thread: Woods

Went to Woods Res. today for a few hours. Got 15 keepers, not normandy quality but most were 11 to 12 inches. Sign said the lake well be closed to fishing during Dec. and Jan. due to duck season.......BUMMER First it was low water on Normandy now Ducks on Woods, what next!?!?!

Hey FH, the whole lake isn't closed, just sections. Better that they let you know anyhow - those duck hunters have been known to SHOOT at fishermen!

Someday we just HAVE to hook up! Jesse enjoyed his trip with you & FB; I've been stuck at the desk & am going to rebel soon!

Good goin' there Hawk...15 Woods crappie is better than none at all...or you could be like Mike , stuck at the desk just dreaming about 'em. I'm gonna give normandy a rest tomorrow , i bought a bottomline fishin' buddy portable sonar for the pirogue and am gonna see if i can locate some bull gills and shellcracker.

Mike , you better get out there and do some...insanity is the pits buddy !
