Default Cold and windy on the Little Emory River

Got a super late start today after spending the morning changing the fuel pump on the grocery get'r. Fished solo today. Hit the water about 1pm. The wind blew hard but the crappie bite was good. I was able to release 8 really nice crappie and a handful of slicks before i headed home at 4pm. All fish were cought at 6.5 ft in 9 ft of water under a float on a black and green tripple tail. Never checked water temp or even turned on electronics. Hit one of my regular spots and it was on from the first cast.

    Good job!

I am curious what you refer to as the Little Emory River ... sorry to ask just trying to figure out the area.

I usually put in at what my buddy calls Anchor boat dock. Turn off hwy 61 onto little emory rd. I also put in at swan pond park and come back up near the sportsmens club and back up river.

Thank you! I fish primarily on Watts Bar and was trying to make the connection.
