Default Sauger Fish Kentucky Lake (TN)

I live in Paris, TN and was wondering if anyone knew anything about sauger fishing in the area/TN River. I’ve been wanting to go for a while now and just don’t know much about it. Thanks for any advise.

I wish I could help you, but all my saugers have been accidents!

They should be below any dams. I like using double minnow rigs.

I've only caught a few on accident and the last one was this spring. I think I caught it on a small crankbaits while bass fishing.
I fish the Big Sandy area a lot and seldom hear of anyone catching very many of them lately.
