    Default I see them

But they wouldn’t bite! DI, SI, and Sonar all showed em to me. Deep baitfish that seemed to go on forever, see the fish, caught one! I’m gonna hafta buy minners, and may hafta start spider riggin. Prefer to do neither of the above!

At least I wasn’t the only one! Just one of those days, I guess. It was good news for the one that fell for my jig, as he swims on!

I ran onto something like this a few years back. Sam and I were fishing deep trees that had a few large schools of shad in them. I got exited. With all this bait there has to be a load of fish. Not a bite. We moved out of the schools and didn't go far to another tree and here we go. My thought is too many to choose from. Or it was a buffet and they wouldn't touch anything different. But we did well once we moved out of the school.

Same thing for me yesterday. 2 fish in 3 hours and I was using minnows. Needless to say I was home early.

You know, I wondered why they would want my jig with an endless supply of food. You make a good point. Thanks!
